The Vegas Golden Knights (25-11-2) fell to the St. Louis Blues (17-16-6), 3-1, on Wednesday night at Enterprise Center.
HOW IT WENT DOWN

Sammy Blais doubled the lead for the Blues as the home team took a 2-0 edge into the second period. The Golden Knights outshot the Blues in the middle frame, 12-4, but still found themselves down by a pair through 40 minutes. Jake Walman scored to put the Blues ahead by three, but Nicolas Roy's second goal of the year brought Vegas back to within two. Jordan Binnington finished the game with 44 saves as St Louis earned the 3-1 victory.
