The Vegas Golden Knights (51-22-9) clinched the Pacific Division title as they knocked off the Seattle Kraken (46-28-8), 3-1, on Thursday night at Climate Pledge Arena.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
Reilly Smith opened the scoring as an errant Seattle pass went off his leg and in for the game's first goal. Late in the first period, Jaden Schwartz fired a shot inside the post to tie the game for the Kraken. In the middle frame, Alec Martinez snuck a shot past Philipp Grubauer to put the Golden Knights back in front. Vegas locked things down to defensively and, after Chandler Stephenson tacked on an empty-net goal, the Golden Knights held on for the 3-1 victory and the Pacific Division championship.
