Golden Knights Celebrating Nevada Day With Matinee On Friday

Vegas will wear white jerseys at home for the first time during Friday's 3:00 PM game against the Colorado Avalanche

VEGAS (October 24, 2017) - The Vegas Golden Knights will celebrate Nevada Day this Friday, October 27, with a 3 p.m. matinee game against the Colorado Avalanche. To help make the Nevada Day game experience unique, the Golden Knights will premiere their white road jerseys on home ice for the first time.

Nevada Day is a state-recognized public holiday celebrated on the final Friday of October every year to recognize the state's admission to the union.

"As a Vegas born team, we're looking forward to celebrating our state's history during our inaugural Nevada Day game on Friday, October 27," said Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz. "Students have the day off from school, and we hope the kids and their families are able to enjoy a great afternoon of matinee hockey at T-Mobile Arena." 

In recognition of Las Vegas' primary area code, Nevada state residents have the opportunity to purchase a limited number of lower level tickets for the Nevada Day game starting at the special price of $70.2 by visiting

The Golden Knights will celebrate Nevada Day through various pregame elements and in-game entertainment.
