Golden Knights And City National Bank To Host Grand Celebration

VEGAS (September 14, 2017) -The Vegas Golden Knights and City National Bank will host a grand celebration ceremony at the newly opened City National Arena, the official practice facility of the Vegas Golden Knights, at 9 a.m. PT on Monday, September 18.
The invite-only event featuring Vegas Golden Knights Chairman and CEO Bill Foley and City National Bank Chairman and CEO Russell Goldsmith will include a celebratory puck drop with Jr. Golden Knights players. There will also be remarks from Foley, Goldsmith, Nevada Lieutenant Governor Mark Hutchison, Clark County Commissioner Susan Brager, Clark County Commissioner and Chairman Steve Sisolak and President of Summerlin Kevin Orrock. Foley and Goldsmith and other speakers will be available for interviews following the event. Please note the list of speakers is subject to change.

In addition to being the home of the Vegas Golden Knights, City National Arena will also serve as a community center for all Las Vegas residents. The 146,000-square foot facility features two sheets of ice and will offer skating programs and leagues for all skill levels regardless of age, gender or previous hockey or skating experience. City National Arena is also home to MacKenzie River Grill & Pub, a 6,500 square restaurant that sits in the middle of the facility overlooking both sheets of ice. High top tables that seat five are featured in the middle of the dining area and elevated seating runs the length of both rinks, providing customers with a unique view. The MacKenzie River concept delights diners with its innovative and mouth-watering food choices, creative specialty cocktails and a diverse beer selection.
