Adin Hill backstopped the Vegas Golden Knights to a 6-0 win against the Dallas Stars in Game 6 of the Western Conference Final on Monday night at American Airlines Center. Vegas wins the series, 4-2.
HOW IT WENT DOWN William Carrier, William Karlsson and Keegan Kolesar each found the back of the net in the opening period to put the visitors ahead, 3-0, through the first 20 minutes. Jonathan Marchessault gave Vegas a 4-0 lead in the second period to send the Golden Knights into the third period with a commanding lead. Karlsson and Michael Amadio scored in the final frame as the Golden Knights earned the victory to advance to their second Stanley Cup Final in franchise history.
TOP PERFORMERS Adin Hill:Hill had a 23-save shutout for his second clean slate of the series.
William Karlsson: Karlsson led the way offensively with three points (2G, 1A) in the win.
Michael Amadio: Amadio had a pair of points (1G, 1A) in his second game of the series.
Reilly Smith: Smith notched two assists in the victory.
Keegan Kolesar: Kolesar's two-point night (1G, 1A) complimented his eight hits.
