The Vegas Golden Knights (35-22-8) claimed their seventh win in a row as they knocked off the Edmonton Oilers (33-23-8), 3-0, on Wednesday night at T-Mobile Arena.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Max Pacioretty potted his 30th goal of the season late in the first period to send the Golden Knights into the break ahead, 1-0. After a scoreless second period, Nick Cousins knocked in his first goal as a Golden Knight to put Vegas ahead by two. Shea Theodore added a third goal midway through the frame and Marc-Andre Fleury held on for the shutout as the Golden Knights won, 3-0.

TOP PERFORMERS
Marc-Andre Fleury: Fleury turned aside all 29 shots he faced for his 61st career shutout.
Nick Cousins:Cousins chipped in with a power-play goal for an insurance marker.
Alec Martinez: Martinez posted two assists in the win. It was his third multi-point game in four appearances with Vegas.
STAT OF THE KNIGHT
Cousins became the ninth Golden Knight all-time to score in his team debut. He joined Cody Glass, Chandler Stephenson, Alec Martinez and Patrick Brown on the list of Vegas players who achieved that feat this season.
