HOW IT WENT DOWN
Rickard Rakell was the first player to find the back of the net as he fired a shot by Marc-Andre Fleury midway through the opening period. Later in the frame, Alex Pietrangelo potted his second goal of the season to tie the game at 1-1. In the second, Karlsson lifted a shot over the shoulder of John Gibson while falling to the ice for his fourth goal of the year. The Golden Knights took the 2-1 lead into the third period, but Adam Henrique's goal leveled the score at 2-2. Neither side scored through the rest of regulation and, in the overtime session, Karlsson snuck behind the Anaheim defense to deliver the game-winner.
