After a scoreless first period, Jonathan Marchessault buried one on a breakaway to give Vegas the 1-0 lead. Ottawa's Brady Tkachuk answered two minutes later to tie the game at one apiece. With 5.2 seconds remaining in the contest, Eichel scored a power play goal to lift Vegas to the 2-1 win.
