Day two of Development Camp presented by Martin-Harris Construction has come and gone for the prospects of the Vegas Golden Knights as they continue their summer experience with the NHL team.

Team White and Team Red spent time in the morning receiving weight training instruction and post-workout recovery techniques. Both teams jumped on the ice for an hour in preparation for an afternoon scrimmage.

Before the puck dropped for the first contest of camp, Stanley Cup Champions Nicolas Hague and Zach Whitecloud stopped by the arena to share their experiences coming up in the Golden Knights organization and providing advice and guidance for the prospects as they continue their pursuit of reaching the NHL.

The first scrimmage of the week kicked off at 4 p.m. between Team Red and Team White. Jackson Hallum found the back of the net for Team White while Jayden Lee scored for Team Red as the prospects skated to a 1-1 tie through 60 minutes. Hallum and Alex Swetlikoff scored in the shootout to seal a 2-1 win for Team White.

Monday's affairs involve off-ice meetings and a visit to Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada to serve lunch to those less fortunate. On-ice action resumes on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at City National Arena and is free and open to the public.
