VEGAS (January 30, 2023) - The National Hockey League announced today, January 30, that Vegas forward Chandler Stephensonhas been selected to the Pacific Division roster for the 2023 Honda NHL® All-Star Weekend, which will be held at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida on Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4. The event will include the NHL All-Star Skills on Friday and the Honda NHL All-Star Game on Saturday.

Stephenson, 28, replaces the injured Matty Beniers of Seattle on the Pacific Division roster and joins teammate Logan Thompson and head coach Bruce Cassidy in Florida. Stephenson will be making the first All-Star appearance of his six-year NHL career, the last four of which have been spent with the Golden Knights. This is the third NHL All-Star Weekend that will feature multiple Vegas representatives (2018, 2022).
A native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Stephenson leads the Golden Knights with 44 points (11 goals, 33 assists) in 51 games this season. He is fourth in the league in faceoff winning percentage at 59.7% (min. 100 faceoffs) and tied for 17th among NHL forwards with 33 assists. Stephenson has produced three point-scoring streaks of at least five games, including a career-best seven-game stretch from Dec. 11 to 23 (3 goals, 11 assists). On Dec. 13 against Winnipeg he tied the Vegas record for assists in a game with four, and his 20 points in the month of December ranked fourth in the NHL.
Stephenson was acquired from the Washington Capitals on Dec. 2, 2019, in exchange for a fifth-round NHL Draft pick. A Stanley Cup champion in 2018 with the Capitals, he made his NHL debut on Oct. 15, 2015, and has compiled 198 points (68 goals, 130 assists) in 390 career games played. Stephenson was a four-year star for the Western Hockey League's Regina Pats, where he was named to the WHL East Second All-Star Team in 2014.
