Moser scores with 0.8 seconds left to lead Broncos over Hitmen 5-4 @NHL

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Ryon Moser scored with 0.8 seconds left in regulation to lead the Swift Current Broncos to a 5-4 win over the Calgary Hitmen on Wednesday in the Western Hockey League.

The win moves Swift Current (25-21-5) into fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings, while Calgary (33-14-4) falls five points behind Conference-leading Edmonton.

Swift Current's Adam Lowry scored his team-leading 33rd of the year in the middle period to tie the game at 3-3 after 40 minutes.

The Broncos also had goals from Levi Bews, Coda Gordon and import defenceman Richard Nedomlel.

Calgary was led by two-goal performances from Brady Brassart and Alex Roach.

Swift Current import goaltender Eetu Laurikainen stopped 29 of 33 shots.

Calgary netminder Chris Driedger yielded five goals on 27 shots.
