Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren announced that defenseman Nicklas Grossmann will not return to tonight's Game 4 vs. Rangers due to a lower-body injury.
Grossmann appeared in 13 shifts and 8:03 of ice-time before leaving the game.
So far this postseason, Grossmann has averaged 19:10 of ice-time through the first three games for the Flyers, recording two penalty minutes and six blocked shots.
During the regular season Grossmann missed four games, including the final three games of the season. He posted 13 assists and 14 points in 78 games, while leading all Flyers in blocked shots (174).
