On this date in 1997, the Flyers defeated the Senators in Ottawa, 8-5.

John LeClair (3G,1A), Eric Lindros (1G,6A) and Mikael Renberg (2G,3A) combined to record 16 points in the game to tie the team record for most points in game by one line. They had set the record earlier in the month of February, with 16 points at Montreal on February 6.

Lindros's six assists in the contest set a new team record for most assists by a player in a game.
