Throughout the summer months, philadelphiaflyers.com will dig through the archives here at the Wachovia Center and take a look back at some classic moments in the history of the Wachovia Spectrum as the building prepares to close its doors forever.

We don't have a whole lot of information for the clip below, except that it was labeled "1967 expansion video" in a box up in the archives and was produced in the early 1980s. It begins with the original voice of the Flyers, the late Stu Nahan, introducing the team in front of the newly constructed Spectrum before the team had even played a single game there. Dick Irvin takes over the player intros from there.
From Keith Allen to Bernie Parent to Joe Watson, check out what the Flyers' roster looked like when the team joined the National Hockey League 42 years ago.
