Sixers, Flyers and Phantoms Respond to Philabundance's Urgent Request

In response to Philabundance’s urgent request to help those less fortunate due to the current food shortage, Comcast-Spectacor is urging fans attending either the Philadelphia 76ers or Philadelphia Phantoms game on Friday, December 21, or the Philadelphia Flyers game on Saturday, December 22, to please bring several non-perishable food items with them to the Wachovia Center or Wachovia Spectrum. These items will be collected upon entry to the arena and will immediately be turned over to Philabundance to help those less fortunate during this holiday season.


Requested food items are: 

Current priority items:
Canned / Shelf Stable Tuna
Canned Beef Stew (pop top lid)
Canned Chili (pop top lid)
Canned Pasta, Beef Ravioli

Other recommended items:
Macaroni & Cheese
Ready to Eat Cereal (Family Size)
Canned Pork & Beans/Baked Beans (pop top lid)
Canned Green Beans
Canned Corn
Canned Fruit Cocktail (pop top lid)
Creamy Peanut Butter (Plastic Containers Only)
Grape Jelly (Plastic Containers Only)
Boxed Sugar
