RESULTS: Best Ray Emery Save of 2013-14

by Staff Writer / Philadelphia Flyers

RESULTS ARE IN: In a close vote, Ray Emery's kick save on Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews was voted into the next round by fans during the course of the week, over his double stop on Sidney Crosby.

The highlight reel save earned just over 53% of the vote from fans with nearly 700 submissions.

With a little over 8 minutes left in the second period Emery denied Toews, his former teammate, who was alone in the slot and fired a one-timer off a pass from Patrick Sharp below the left circle.

That save will now advance in the summer-long tournament to face off against Steve Mason to determine the 'Best Save of 2013-14' and a berth in the Final Four (see the entire bracket above).

Mason's stretching glove save on Penguins Beau Bennett was voted on by the fans as his best save of 2013-14.
