Propp Running for State Assembly

(Mount Holly, NJ) - The Burlington County Republican Committee unanimously endorsed Diane Allen for Senate and Brian Propp and Nancy Whatley-Griffin for Assembly.

Senator Diane Allen was elected to the New Jersey State Senate in November of 1997. As a State Senator, Diane continues to serve her constituency and champion solutions to the toughest issues that face the residents of New Jersey today. Diane was reelected to the State Senate in November 2003 for another four-year term.

"I am honored that Brian and Nancy have agreed to run for the Assembly. I feel that they will be great additions to the State Assembly in Trenton," said State Senator Diane Allen. We have many tough issues to solve in Trenton and I feel that this team will give the residents of the 7th Legislative district the voice they need in Trenton."

Brian Propp spent 15 years in the National Hockey League. Brian currently is the Director of Business Development for Harbor Lights Financial Group and is a broadcaster for the Philadelphia Flyers. Brian devotes untold hours of community service for a number of nonprofits. His passion for public service is second to none and he will bring that same passion to the Legislature.

"I am running to become an Assemblyman from the 7th District because someone has to look out for the hard working residents of the 7th District," said Brian Propp. "I look forward to working with Senator Allen in developing a plan to make New Jersey the best place to live."
