The Philadelphia Flyers won the seventh overall selection as a result of tonight's 2023 NHL Draft Lottery which was held at NHL Network's Secaucus, N.J., studio. The event was broadcasted live on ESPN, Sportsnet and TVA Sports.

"I am excited for our seventh overall selection in this year's NHL Draft," said Interim General Manager Daniel Briere. "This selection is the first step needed to usher our organization into a new era and am looking forward to welcoming our next group of prospects into the Flyers family."
