Philadelphia Flyers fans are invited to bring their passion for hockey during the offseason and embrace the game of tennis as they cheer on the Philadelphia Freedoms when they play the defending Mylan World TeamTennis Champion Washington Kastles at the Villanova Pavilion on Wednesday, July 23 at 7 p.m.
“Flyers fans are some of the most passionate fans in all of sports,” said Philadelphia Freedoms Senior Vice President and General Manager Barbara Perry. “We are excited to have the enthusiasm of Flyers fans inside the Pavilion to cheer on the Freedoms and experience tennis at its highest level.”
The night serves plenty for Flyers fans, including pre-match festivities with Flyers alumnus Todd Fedoruk, as he will meet-and-greet fans alongside the Flyers inflatable starting at 5:30 p.m. Flyers fans will also have the opportunity bid on tennis racquets autographed by Flyers goaltender Steve Mason and defensemen Kimmo Timonen. Flyers give-aways will also be available throughout the evening, while supplies last.
In addition to the Flyers Night promotions, the Freedoms will also host fathers, sons, and bros to “Guys Night Out”, which features a guy-themed menu from Winnie’s LeBus, desserts from Sweet Street Desserts and complimentary beer from Yards Brewing Company.
