Philadelphia Flyers Wives Carnival tickets to go on sale during Flyers home game tonight

by Staff Writer / Philadelphia Flyers
Tickets to one of the most tenured and successful charity events hosted by a professional sports franchise, the Philadelphia Flyers Wives Carnival, will go on sale tonight, October 20 at 7:30 p.m. exclusively online at, by phone at 1-800-298-4200, or at the Wells Fargo Center Box Office. This season’s Carnival will take place on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center.

The Carnival, now in its 39th year, provides the unique opportunity for fans to meet and take pictures with their favorite Flyers players, collect autographs, play interactive games, and take part in family-friendly activities. Fan favorites include the six-story-high ferris wheel—making a much-anticipated return this year—the shot-on-goal on the Wells Fargo Center ice, carnival games and booths, tailgate games with players, behind-the-scenes tours of the Wells Fargo Center press box, and meet-and-greets with Flyers players and alumni.

This year, several player combination autograph/photograph booths will be available for purchase in advance, including Claude Giroux, Jakub Voracek, Steve Mason, and Wayne Simmonds. Also new this year, fans can purchase the widely-popular Mystery Bags in advance. These bags, available for both children and adults, are filled with exclusive Flyers merchandise.

Early Admission tickets to the Carnival are $35 in advance and will allow fans to enter the building at 1:30 p.m. General Admission opens at 3 p.m. and is $20 for adults. Tickets for children 12 and under are $15. Children under 2 are free. Event parking is free.

Proceeds from the Flyers Wives Fight for Lives Carnival allow Flyers Charities to assist many local beneficiaries such as the Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern Pennsylvania, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Living Beyond Breast Cancer, Pennsylvania, Police Athletic League, and many others. Since its inception, Flyers Charities has contributed over $26 million to various charitable organizations in the Greater Philadelphia Region.
