After practice today, Flyers GM Ron Hextall gave an injury update on forward Michael Raffl.
Flyers forward Michael Raffl will be out approximately 4-6 weeks with a lower-body injury.
Raffl suffered the injury in Monday's loss to the Avalanche with 4:15 left in the second period and did not return after recording 6:44 of ice time on 10 shifts.
Raffl has appeared in all nine games so far for the Flyers this season, recording two assists and logging an average of 12:15 of ice time, over two minutes of which (2:05) are on the team's penalty kill.
He is in his sixth season in the NHL, all with the Flyers. He has recorded 64 goals and 52 assists for 116 points in 354 regular season games.
Next up for the Flyers, they travel to Boston on Wednesday to take on the Bruins in a 7 p.m. start (NBCSP & 97.5 The Fanatic).
