During the team's morning skate, Flyers GM Ron Hextall announced that defenseman Brandon Manning is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Manning did not participate in the morning skate and missed the Flyers 5-3 win over Calgary on Sunday due to precautionary reasons.

Manning has posted new career-highs in both goals (3) and points (9) this year, his fourth with the club and second full season.

The Flyers have had a total of 64 man-games lost this season with forward Boyd Gordon missing 13 games with his upper-body injury and goaltender Michal Neuvirth missing seven games with a lower-body injury prior to tonight.

The Flyers face off against the Boston Bruins tonight in a 7:30 p.m. start (NBCSN; 97.5 The Fanatic). For a detailed look on the game, CLICK HERE
