OTF: Flyers loan 5 players to Phantoms

Flyers trim camp roster prior to game vs. Bruins

Flyers GM Ron Hextall announced this afternoon that the club has loaned five players from camp to their AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, for their training camp.

The following players loaned are: defensemen T.J. Brennan and forwards Greg Carey, Chris Conner, Andy Miele and Petr Straka.

The moves come after the team's morning skate in Voorhees and prior to their game tonight vs. Boston. See the full lineup for tonight's game HERE.

The Flyers training camp roster is now at 34 players.

Conner and Miele are the only two of the group who appeared in two preseason games for the Flyers with Miele posting one goal and Conner recording five shots on net. Brennan, Carey and Straka each appeared in one preseason games.

The Flyers take on the Bruins tonight at the Wells Fargo Center for their fifth game of the preseason. Puck drop is 7 p.m. and it will be broadcast live on 97.5 The Fanatic.
