PHILADELPHIA – New season. New attitude. New music.

You didn’t expect it to be any other way did you?

With the start of the 2013-14 campaign, the Flyers will have new warm up music, a new goal song and a new victory song in the locker room.

And apparently, the locker room DJ’s picking the music this year are none other than captain Claude Giroux and alternate captain Scott Hartnell.

For the warmups the start is familiar, as the team is sticking with Jay-Z and his Public Service Announcement.

But, from there, everything is new.

Kid Cudi’s Pursuit of Happiness follows and then there is an eclectic mix featuring Big Jack by AC/DC, City of Dreams by Dirty South and Alesso, A Little Party Never Killed Nobody by Fergie, Q-Tip and Goon Rock, Animals by Martin Garrix, another AC/DC tune – Money Talks and finally Promises by Nero.

But perhaps the most notable change is the new goal song.

Gone is Maria by Scooter, also known as the “Doop Song.”

It was originally brought to the Flyers games by former Flyer Danny Briere, who liked the song when he heard it at a Philadelphia Union game, and it was a part of the fabric of Flyers games for the past few seasons.

But Briere is now in Montreal, and while it’s unknown if the song followed him across the border, it definitely followed him out of the Wells Fargo Center.

In it’s place – you guessed it - another AC/DC song.

Somebody in that locker room is a big Angus Young fan, because fans will now rock with a sample of TNT after every Flyers home goal.

As for that victory song?

Well… let’s wait until the team wins before we unveil that one, shall we?
