The Philadelphia Flyers announced today new details for the upcoming 39th Annual Flyers Wives Carnival, scheduled for March 13, 2016, from 1:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center. Among the newly-added attractions are a center-ice carousel, all-new carnival games, and the opportunity to purchase player autographs prior to the Carnival. This annual event welcomes thousands of Flyers fans to mingle with players and enjoy a family-friendly afternoon, all while supporting a great cause.
Last year’s six-story-high Ferris Wheel will make its return at this year’s Carnival, accompanied by a new Carousel taking center ice on the Wells Fargo Center floor.
For those ultra-fans looking to nab player autographs this year, the Flyers have added the option for fans to pre-purchase and guarantee autograph sessions with each member of the Flyers roster. For details and to reserve players, fans can visit PhiladelphiaFlyers.com/Carnival.
Other new additions to the Carnival include the special appearance of the entire Phantoms roster for the first time ever, as well as authentic Carnival-style games for fans to try their hand at—including water guns, fun house mirrors, balloon darts, a strongman attraction, and more.
Fan favorites returning this year include the shot-on-goal on the Wells Fargo Center ice, tailgate games with Flyers players, behind-the-scenes tours of the Wells Fargo Center press box and locker rooms, mystery bags, giant inflatables, face painting, and more.
Tickets to the Carnival are on sale now, exclusively online at PhiladelphiaFlyers.com/Carnival, by calling 1-800-298-4200, or visiting the Wells Fargo Center Box Office. Tickets are available the day of the Carnival at the Wells Fargo Center Box Office.
Early Admission tickets to the Carnival are $35 in advance and will allow fans to enter the building at 1:30 p.m. General Admission opens at 3 p.m. and is $20 for adults. Tickets for children 12 and under are $15. Children under 2 are free. Event parking is free.
Proceeds from the Flyers Wives Fight for Lives Carnival allow Flyers Charities to assist many local beneficiaries such as the Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern Pennsylvania, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Living Beyond Breast Cancer, Pennsylvania, Police Athletic League, and many others. Since its inception, Flyers Charities has contributed over $26 million to various charitable organizations in the Greater Philadelphia Region.
