(London, Ontario, May 5) - Nicholas ("Nick") Luukko, of West Chester, PA, was the final player selected in today''s 2007 Ontario Hockey League Priority draft. The 5''11", 155-pound 15-year-old was a 15th round selection by the London Knights. Luukko plays defenseman for Team Comcast, a AAA traveling youth hockey team from Pennsauken, NJ. He is the son of Comcast-Spectacor President Peter Luukko whose company manages the John Labatt Centre, home of the Knights.

Nick Luukko, a freshman at Malvern Prep, will attend camp with the Knights in June, with the intent of returning home for school in the fall.

Nick Luukko attended a press conference at the John Labatt Centre in 2002, with his father when the Philadelphia Flyers then announced they would play a preseason game at the 10,000-seat sports and entertainment venue in Western Ontario against the Washington Capitals. Nick Luukko joked with his dad and Knights owners Dale and Marc Hunter that one day "I would get drafted by the Knights." He even held up a Knights sweater and posed for photos with the Hunter Brothers and his father.
