The Philadelphia Flyers 'Legion of Doom' line, comprised of Eric Lindros, John LeClair, and Mikael Renberg will reunite this winter as alumni legends from both the Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins compete in a special 50th anniversary, cross-state contest on January 14, 2017 at 7 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center. The Flyers-Penguins Alumni Game is presented by AAA.
This game marks the first time that Lindros, LeClair, and Renberg have reunited together as linemates on the ice in Philadelphia since they played together as a line from 1995 through 1997.
The game will also see the return of the famed L-C-B Line of Reggie Leach, Bob Clarke, and Bill Barber, as well as fan-favorites Dave Poulin, Brian Propp, and Tim Kerr - who made their line well known in the 1980s - all back at it again.
Tickets to the Alumni Game are on sale now.
With today's announcement, the Flyers roster currently includes:
Bill Barber, Brian Boucher, Danny Briere, Terry Carkner, Bob Clarke, Murray Craven, Eric Desjardins, Simon Gagne, Mark Howe, Bob Kelly, Tim Kerr, Orest Kindrachuk, Reggie Leach, John LeClair, Eric Lindros, Brad Marsh, Dave Poulin, Brian Propp, Michael Renberg, Luke Richardson, Kjell Samuelsson, Jim Watson, and Joe Watson.
Full alumni rosters for both teams, in addition to other special guests attending the game, will be announced closer to the game date.
