Forsberg and Esche to Return on Saturday

by Staff Writer / Philadelphia Flyers

Voorhees, NJ – Flyers center Peter Forsberg and goaltender Robert Esche will return to the lineup on Saturday afternoon when the Flyers host the Minnesota Wild at the Wachovia Center at 2:00 p.m.

"I feel good and I feel confident that everything is going to be okay, and I have no hesitation going out there," said Forsberg. "It feels good."

Forsberg has missed the last six games after sustaining a groin strain on November 25 in Boston. He still leads the team in scoring with 39 points (8g, 31a), also good for seventh in the league.

Robert Esche will also be back in the lineup, although he will serve as the backup to Antero Niittymaki, according to Flyers Head Coach Ken Hitchcock.

While the Flyers are gaining two players, Turner Stevenson will once again sit out due to an injured right hip.
