Flyers trim 28 players from training camp roster

The Flyers trimmed their training camp roster by assigning 28 players today.

The Flyers roster now stands at 17 forwards, 12 defensemen and three goaltenders.

The Flyers will head north tomorrow for four days of camp at the National Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY before returning home to resume camp at The Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ.  The final week of camp includes three exhibition games – Tuesday, Sept. 24 at home vs. New Jersey; Thursday, Sept. 26 at New Jersey; and Friday, Sept. 27 at Washington.
