The Philadelphia Flyers will begin their official preseason activities on Monday, September 14 when they open a three-day rookie camp at the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ, according to general manager Ron Hextall.
The camp will consist of on-ice sessions beginning at 9:45 AM on September 14, 15 and 16, which are all free and open to the public.
A total of 24 players are scheduled to take part in the camp. Expected attendees include first-round draft picks Ivan Provorov, Travis Konecny, Travis Sanheim, Samuel Morin and Scott Laughton; several others who are headed into their second professional season such as goaltender Anthony Stolarz and defensemen Shayne Gostisbehere and Robert Hagg, and many other recent draft picks and signees. The camp precedes the Flyers main training camp. More information about the main camp will be announced tomorrow.
