Flyers to hold Rookie Camp at Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone
by Staff Writer / Philadelphia FlyersThe Philadelphia Flyers will begin their official preseason activities on Monday, September 14 when they open a three-day rookie camp at the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ, according to general manager Ron Hextall.
The camp will consist of on-ice sessions beginning at 9:45 AM on September 14, 15 and 16, which are all free and open to the public.
A total of 24 players are scheduled to take part in the camp. Expected attendees include first-round draft picks Ivan Provorov, Travis Konecny, Travis Sanheim, Samuel Morin and Scott Laughton; several others who are headed into their second professional season such as goaltender Anthony Stolarz and defensemen Shayne Gostisbehere and Robert Hagg, and many other recent draft picks and signees. A complete Rookie Camp roster is attached to this release.
The camp precedes the Flyers main training camp. More information about the main camp will be announced tomorrow.
