Flyers to Collect Unwanted Gifts from Fans Thursday Night

Fans Can Exchange Gifts for Free Tickets, Special Discounts and Free Ice Skating

Philadelphia, PA – December 20, 2007– Three of Comcast-Spectacor’s professional sports teams – the Philadelphia 76ers Flyers and Phantoms - will collect those unwanted holiday gifts from their fans in exchange for some incredible offers when they host games at either the Wachovia Center or the Wachovia Spectrum in the first few days after Christmas. Items will be collected at the entrances to the arena and then distributed to those less fortunate by the Comcast-Spectacor Foundation.

“Unfortunately, in this time of giving there are those who are less fortunate and collectively, we would like to do our part to make it a better holiday in the Greater Philadelphia Region,” said Comcast-Spectacor President Peter Luukko.

Fans attending the Sixers vs. Miami Heat game at the Wachovia Center on Wednesday, December 26, the Flyers vs. Toronto Maple Leafs game at the Wachovia Center on Thursday, December 27 or the Phantoms vs. the Binghamton Senators game at the Wachovia Spectrum on Friday, December 28, are encouraged to exchange their unwanted holiday gift for a coupon book which features special offers, including $25 tickets for Flyers games, a “Buy One, Get One Free” offer to select Sixers games; two free tickets to an upcoming Phantoms game; a special $10 voucher at the Wachovia Center team store (on items $50 or more) and a free public skating session at any Flyers Skate Zone location.

Tickets to see these three games or any other game during the regular season are on sale now at, at the Wachovia Center box office or by phone at 1-800-298-4200.
