Flyers statement on the passing of Robbie Moore

The Philadelphia Flyers are mourning the loss of former goaltender Robbie Moore. During the 1979 season with the Flyers, he helped the club reach the playoffs with two shutouts in just five regular season games, and he was critical in the club's preliminary round playoff series win against the Vancouver Canucks.

Moore also helped lead the Flyers' top affiliate in the American Hockey League, the Maine Mariners, for three seasons. He was a member of the 1979 Calder Cup Championship squad and appeared in the 1981 Calder Cup Final.
