Flyers Sled Hockey team faces off against South Korea for charity

by Staff Writer / Philadelphia Flyers

The Philadelphia Flyers Sled Hockey Team will host the South Korean national team for the next two weeks, as the teams train together and play a 7-game exhibition series.

All proceeds of the series will benefit Barb Lubin, the Philadelphia Flyers Sled Hockey team manager who suffered paralysis in a traumatic fall.

The games on Sunday, October 21 (1:00 pm, Ice Works) and Sunday, October 28 (2:40 pm, Flyers Skate Zone at Northeast Philadelphia) will be “Flyers Sundays” featuring Flyers alumni and Ice Girls appearances, as well as Flyers raffle prizes.
