The Philadelphia Flyers have re-signed goaltender Carter Hart to a three-year contract extension worth an average annual value (AAV) of $3.979M, according to President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Chuck Fletcher.

* The contract will run through the 2023-24 season.

* Hart appeared in 27 games, receiving 25 starts, last season (2020-21) and posted a 9-11-5 record to go along with a 3.67 goals-against average and .877 save percentage.

* In his final five starts of the season, Hart earned points in three games, going 1-2-2, and had a .910 save percentage and 2.31 GAA.

* He appeared in his 100th game in the NHL on Apr. 11 vs. Buffalo.

* Over parts of three seasons with the Flyers, Hart has posted a 49-37-9 record with two shutouts and a 2.88 GAA and .905 sv. pct. in 101 games played.

* In his first full season in the NHL, 2019-20, he made 40 starts and appeared in 43 games to post a 24-13-3 record, 2.42 GAA and .914 save percentage - His 24 wins T-9th among all NHL goalies, while his 2.42 GAA finished 8th.
