by Staff Writer / Philadelphia Flyers
The Philadelphia Flyers, in their orange and black, are getting into the spirit of Halloween for their game at the Wachovia Center on Thursday, October 30, when they host the New York Islanders at 7 p.m.

All fans are encouraged to dress in their most imaginative Halloween costumes for both trick-or-treating on the concourse and a costume contest. Prizes include a PlayStation 3 with Rock Band video game, as well as a 46" flat panel television.

"We want our fans to get into the Halloween spirit and celebrate with us," said Shawn Tilger, Flyers Senior Vice President of Business Operations. "Our Halloween game will be a night of fun for everyone."

Throughout the game, the Flyers will also feature special Halloween videos and other spooky in-game elements with a Flyers twist.

The Flyers-Islanders game will be carried live on Comcast SportsNet, available in HD, and on SportsRadio 610 WIP.
