The Philadelphia Flyers today released their 2015-16 preseason schedule, according to general manager Ron Hextall.

The Flyers will play a seven-game preseason slate this year that will begin on Monday, September 21 when the club will play a split-squad evening against the New York Islanders.  Half of each team’s roster will meet at PPL Center in Allentown, PA, home of the Flyers’ AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, while the other half of the rosters will face off at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The game at PPL Center will mark the first NHL game played in the Lehigh Valley.  PPL Center is operated by Spectra, the hosting and entertainment firm owned by Comcast-Spectacor.  At PPL Center, Spectra provides venue management, food services and ticketing.
