Following the morning skate on Day 4 of training camp on Monday, Flyers GM Ron Hextall announced to the media that the roster has been reduced by four players.

The following players have been returned to their junior team:

78 - LW Matthew Strome (OHL - Hamilton)

64 - RW Maksim Sushko (OHL - Owen Sound)

86 - D Wyatte Wylie (WHL - Everett)

In addition, the following player has been removed from his Amateur Try-Out (ATO):

67 - G Liam Hughes

All four players participated in the Flyers-Islanders rookie game on Sept. 12 in which the Flyers took a 6-3 victory on Long Island. Sushko was the only member of the group to appear in the first official preseason game, the Flyers 3-0 loss to the Islanders on Sunday.

The Flyers training camp roster now stands at 53 players.
