Flyers recall three from Lehigh Valley

Myers, Rubtsov and Twarysnki join Flyers; injury update on Scott Laughton

Philadelphia Flyers President of Hockey Operations and General Manager, Chuck Fletcher announced moves to the team's roster today.

The Philadelphia Flyers have recalled the following players from their AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms:

The Flyers have recalled the following players from their AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms:

The Flyers have loaned the following player to Lehigh Valley on a conditioning assignment:

In addition to the transactions, it was announced that Scott Laughton had successful surgery on his right index finger on Wednesday and is expected to be out 3-4 weeks. He will be placed on Long-Term Injured Reserve (LTIR) and is expected to make a full recovery.

Laughton was injured during the Flyers' 7-4 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Oct. 26 and has missed the last two games. He has three assists in nine games, while averaging 14:19 of ice time, 1:39 of which is on the team's penalty kill.

Myers earns his first recall to the Flyers this season after being one the last cuts at training camp on Oct. 1. He has four points, all assists, in six games with the Phantoms this season. He leads the team, and is tied for fourth in the entire league with a plus-minus rating of +8.

Last season, Myers appeared in 21 games for the Flyers, recording two points (1g-1a) and averaged 15:22 of ice time in that stretch. He made his NHL debut on Feb. 17 at Detroit and recorded his first goal in the NHL vs. Washington on Mar. 6.

Rubtsov also earns his first recall to the Flyers, where he appeared in four preseason games during Flyers training camp. Since being assigned to the Phantoms, he has appeared in all seven games and posted six points (1g-5a) to go along with a +4 rating.

Selected in the first round (22nd overall) in the 2016 NHL Draft, Rubtsov will be available to make his NHL debut on Friday when the Flyers travel to New Jersey to take on the Devils.

Twarynski returns to the Flyers after making the opening night roster and making his NHL debut on Oct. 4 vs. Chicago in the NHL's Global Series. He appeared in six games, recording one point, which was his first NHL goal on Oct. 12 at Vancouver, and averaged 9:52 of ice time. He was loaned to the Phantoms on Oct. 20 and appeared in two games with Lehigh Valley.

Vorobyev was recalled by the Flyers on Oct. 20 and played five games for the Flyers where he recorded one assist, four shots on goal and averaged 9:04 of ice time. 

Morin appeared in one game (Oct. 27 at New York Islanders) where he logged 12:32 of ice time and had two hits.
