by Staff Writer / Philadelphia Flyers

The Philadelphia Flyers have recalled LW Tye McGinn from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms, according to general manager Paul Holmgren. McGinn will be available for tomorrow night’s game at New Jersey and will wear #15.

McGinn, 22 (7/29/1990), will be anticipating his potential NHL debut tomorrow night. He has spent the 2012-13 season with Adirondack, and returned there following his participation in last week’s Flyers training camp. With the Phantoms this season, McGinn has 11 goals and four assists for 15 points in 33 games, along with 52 penalty minutes.

McGinn joined the Phantoms last season following the completion of his junior career with Gatineau in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He was selected by the Flyers in the fourth round (119th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
