The Philadelphia Flyers announced that they have recalled 6'2", 200-pound goaltender Jamie Storr from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms, according to General Manager Bob Clarke. Storr has been assigned uniform number #35.
Storr, 29, has compiled a 5-6-1 record, 3.08 GAA and .901 save percentage in 12 games for the Phantoms this season. He was signed as a free agent by the Flyers on August 22, 2005.
He split the 2004-05 season between the Springfield Falcons and Utah Grizzlies of the AHL, registering a 14-27-3 record and 2.95 GAA in 46 games.
A native of Brampton, Ontario, Storr has posted an 85-86-23 record and 2.54 GAA in 219 regular season games over 10 NHL seasons with the Los Angeles Kings (1994-95 through 2002-03) and Carolina Hurricanes (2003-04). He was originally drafted by the Kings in the first round (seventh overall) of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft.
