Flyers-Rangers: First Round Schedule Unveiled

The Philadelphia Flyers, in conjunction with the National Hockey League, tonight announced the schedule for their First Round series with the New York Rangers.  Finishing in second place of the Metropolitan Division, the Rangers have home-ice advantage in the series and will host the Flyers, who finished in third place of the Metropolitan.

The complete schedule & additional information about the series is below:


Game 1 Thurs., April 17 FLYERS at NY Rangers 7 p.m. CSN & C-NBC
Game 2 Sun., April 20 FLYERS at NY Rangers NOON NBC
Game 3 Tue., April 22 NY Rangers at FLYERS 8 p.m. CSN & C-NBC
Game 4 Fri., April 25 NY Rangers at FLYERS 7 p.m. CSN & C-NBC
* Game 5 Sun., April 27 FLYERS at NY Rangers NOON NBC
* Game 6 Tue., April 29 NY Rangers at FLYERS TBD CSN & TSN
* Game 7 Wed., April 30 FLYERS at NY Rangers TBD CSN & TSN

In addition to the television schedule, each game will be broadcast on the radio by 97.5 The Fanatic.

As part of the scheduling for the first round, the Miley Cyrus concert that was originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at the Wells Fargo Center has been moved up one day to Monday, April 21.  Patrons holding tickets to the newly rescheduled date should hold onto their tickets, as all tickets will be honored on the new date.
Tickets are on sale now for games three and four of the series to be played at the Wells Fargo Center, or lock in extended access to the playoffs with a 2014-15 season ticket package.
