Flyers Open Rookie Conditioning Camp on September 6

The Philadelphia Flyers announced that they will open rookie conditioning camp at the Sovereign Bank Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey on Wednesday, September 6. Thirty players are scheduled to attend the weeklong camp, which runs through September 12 and includes a daily on-ice session from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Among the players participating are 2005 first-round draft choice Steve Downie and 2006 first-round draft choice Claude Giroux, as well as several players who spent time on the Flyers last season including Ben Eager, Alexandre Picard, Ryan Potulny and Stefan Ruzicka.
