Mike Knuble (RW) - Has missed the last four games due to a broken middle finger on his left hand sustained vs. Pittsburgh on Oct. 28...Will be out of action for two weeks.
Randy Robitaille (C) - Has missed the last two games due to a sprained left knee and left ankle sustained vs. Tampa Bay on Nov. 2...Will be out of action for seven to 10 days.

November 1- Flyers named Ken Hitchcock a pro scout.
November 2- Flyers assigned defenseman Lars Jonsson and reassigned defenseman Alexandre Picard to the Philadelphia Phantoms.
November 3- Flyers recalled right wing Eric Meloche from the Philadelphia Phantoms.
November 4- Flyers recalled center Mark Cullen and defensemen Martin Grenier and Alexandre Picard from the Philadelphia Phantoms and reassigned forward Triston Grant to the Philadelphia Phantoms.
November 5 - Flyers reassigned defenseman Alexandre Picard to the Philadelphia Phantoms.

Games This Week:

- Flyers vs. NY Islanders on Thursday, Nov. 9: This is the first of eight between these two teams this season. The Flyers won the 2005-06 season series from the Islanders with a 6-2-0 record. Flyers center Jeff Carter led all players in series scoring with 10 points (4G,6A). The Flyers lead the all-time series with a 94-78-26-3 record, including a 58-28-11-2 record at home. Thursday's game will be televised by Comcast SportsNet and broadcast by 610 WIP, starting at 7:00 p.m.

- Flyers vs. Buffalo on Saturday, Nov. 11: This is the second of four meetings between these two teams this season. The Flyers lost the first meeting at Buffalo on Oct. 17, 9-1. The Sabres defeated the Flyers in a 2006 Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series, four games to two. The Flyers lost the 2005-06 regular season series to the Sabres with a 1-2-1 record. Saturday's game will be televised by Comcast SportsNet and broadcast by 610 WIP, starting at 7:00 p.m.

- Flyers at Pittsburgh on Monday, Nov. 13: This is the third of eight meetings between these two teams this season. The Flyers have lost the first two games; 4-0 at Pittsburgh on Oct. 5 and 8-2 in Philadelphia on Oct. 28. Sidney Crosby leads all players with five points (4G,1A) in the first two games. The Flyers won the 2005-06 season series against the Penguins with a 6-1-1 record. The Flyers have not lost three games to the Penguins in a single season since the 2000-01 season (2-3-0 record). Monday's game will be televised by Comcast SportsNet and broadcast by 610 WIP, starting at 7:00 p.m.
