Flyers Fall to Pittsburgh, 2-1

London, Ontario - John LeClair scored a power-play goal with 4:46 left in the third period to lift the Pittsburgh Penguins over the Philadelphia Flyers, 2-1, in preseason action at the John LaBatt Centre.

Geoff Sanderson scored the lone goal for Philadelphia, with Petr Nedved picking up the assist on the power-play tally. Martin Houle made 15 saves in defeat.

Jocelyn Thibault earned the win in goal as he stopped 21 of 22 shots for Pittsburgh.

Ryan Stone also scored for the Penguins.

The Flyers are now 1-3 in the preseason, and will face the Washington Capitals at the Wachovia Center on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. The game will be carried as a webcast on philadelphiaflyers.com for users in the Philadelphia television viewing area.
