Flyers draft pick order set

by Staff Writer / Philadelphia Flyers

With the conclusion of Monday night’s Stanley Cup Final, the Flyers order is now set for the 2015 NHL Entry Draft in Sunrise, Fla. on June 26-27.

The Flyers own two first-round picks: the seventh overall pick, as determined by the Draft Lottery in April, and the 29th overall selection previously owned by the Tampa Bay Lightning as a result of the trade deadline deal with Braydon Coburn. That deal also included Tampa’s third round pick, which is at the 90th position, as well as defenseman Radko Gudas.

The final position set from the Stanley Cup Final came in the form of the Kimmo Timonen trade with the Chicago Blackhawks in late February. The Flyers will now pick at No. 61 in the second round.
