Flyers Deliver Hats to Kids at St. Christopher's

by Staff Writer / Philadelphia Flyers

Flyers Head Coach John Stevens and his wife Stacy, defenseman Derian Hatcher and wife Heather and winger Mike Knuble recently paid a visit to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children to deliver hats to kids battling cancer. The hats were collected at the first Hat Tricks for Kids Hat Toss held during the Flyers’ final game of the season on Sunday, April 8. Fans were encouraged to toss new hats onto the ice "hat trick style" to show support for children battling cancer in oncology units of local Delaware Valley hospitals.

Event partner FedEx helped to deliver the hats to the hospital in a ground truck for distribution.
