The Philadelphia Flyers will open their training camp for the 2021-22 season when players begin on-ice workouts on Thursday, Sept. 23 at The Flyers Training Center in Voorhees, NJ, according to President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Chuck Fletcher.

A total of 58 players are currently scheduled to attend training camp - 32 forwards, 20 defensemen and 5 goaltenders. A full roster is attached to this release.

The first three days of training camp will feature the roster split into three groups with identical schedules each day and groups switching time slots. On the following two days, the Flyers will have scrimmages between two groups. Below is an on-ice schedule for each of the first five days. Each day players in the groups will be posted on PhiladelphiaFlyers.com and the team's social media channels.

On Tuesday, Sept. 28, the Flyers will begin their 2021 preseason schedule with a game against the New York Islanders at 7 p.m. at Wells Fargo Center. Attached is a full camp schedule beyond Sept. 28.

The Flyers also announced the following injuries and roster moves:

-Kevin Hayes (abdominal surgery on 9/21 - out 6-8 weeks)
-Samuel Morin (right knee surgery to have loose bodies removed on 9/10 - out 6-8 weeks)
-Wade Allison (right ankle sprain - out indefinitely)
-Zayde Wisdom (shoulder surgery - out indefinitely)
-Cooper Zech (upper body - out 6-8 weeks)

-The Flyers have released RW Ethan Burroughs and C Nolan Ritchie from their Amateur Try Out (ATO).
