The Philadelphia Flyers today announced their schedule for the 2012 preseason. The Flyers will open training camp at The Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone with on-ice workouts on Saturday, September 22 and will play seven exhibition games over a two-week period leading into the start of the 2012-13 regular season.
The exhibition schedule is as follows:

The Flyers will play three of their exhibition games at the Wells Fargo Center, while playing a fourth game as the home team on Sept. 26 at the Global Spectrum-managed John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario, the home of the OHL’s London Knights. The Flyers will make a preseason visit to London for the ninth straight year and will take on the Maple Leafs there for the third time.
Prior to the start of main training camp, the Flyers will hold a four-day rookie camp that starts on Sunday, September 16 and culminates with a Rookie Game exhibition in Washington against the Capitals at 3pm on September 20. Further information on that game will be released later this summer.
