The Philadelphia Flyers announced that the team will be making their preseason games available to fans through a variety of media, including television, radio and the team’s official Web site, www.philadelphiaflyers.com.

“We expect this to be an exciting season and we want to give our fans the opportunity to experience the excitement from the start,” said Flyers Vice President of Marketing and Communications Shawn Tilger. “We are fortunate to have great broadcast partners in Comcast SportsNet, CN8 - The Comcast Network and SportsRadio 610 WIP and access to advanced technology through partners of the National Hockey League. This has given us the opportunity to give our fans unparallel access to our preseason games.”

Two of the Flyers’ television partners, Comcast SportsNet and CN8, The Comcast Network, will each televise one preseason game. CN8, The Comcast Network, will televise the Flyers-Ottawa Senators game at the John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario, on Tuesday, September 18. CN8 will rebroadcast the Rogers Television - Ottawa feed of the contest, starting at 7:00 p.m. Comcast SportsNet will televise the preseason game on Monday, September 24, between the Flyers and the New Jersey Devils at the Wachovia Center at 7:00 p.m. Jim Jackson, Keith Jones and Steve Coates will make up the Flyers’ television team for the Comcast SportsNet broadcast.

SportsRadio 610 WIP (610 AM), the Flyers’ longtime radio partner, will broadcast all eight preseason games. All broadcast start times are 7:00 p.m., except for the game on Tuesday, September 18, which will start at 8:00 p.m. Tim Saunders and Brian Propp will call all the action on the WIP broadcasts.
