As the Philadelphia Flyers prepare on the ice for upcoming National Hockey League playoffs, the team and Comcast SportsNet will host a playoff pep rally in the Rotunda of the Shops at Liberty Place on Friday, April 21 at 12 p.m.
Joining the Flyers faithful will be Flyers alums Bob "The Hound" Kelly and Bernie Parent, both members of the 1973-74 and 1974-75 Stanley Cup Championship teams and Comcast SportsNet's Michael Barkann. WMMR's Jaxon will be on-site to get the fans excited, as well as Flyers PA announcer Lou Nolan, anthem singer Lauren Hart and Phantoms mascot Phlex.
"This pep rally is a great way for Flyers fans to get together and gear up for an exciting playoff run," said Flyers Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Shawn Tilger. "There is nothing hockey fans look forward to more than the playoffs."
Flyers fans are encouraged to arrive early in head-to-toe orange and black. Comcast SportsNet cheer cards will be given to fans in attendance. Fans can also enter-to-win a pair of tickets to the Flyers first home playoff game in addition to other great prizes.
